Since its initial introduction to the public over a year ago, Westworld has quickly become one of HBO’s most popular hour-long series at the moment. With filming for season two set to wrap up in late December, show creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy teased some major information.

During a conversation at the 2017 Vanity Fair Summit, the two hinted at the possibility and introduction to new theme parks. That setting would specifically take place in both Roman and Medieval worlds. It’s likely that the series could also shy away from the current western-themed amusement park zone we saw in season one. Take a look at what they had to say with V.F.

Westworld creators talking to Vanity Fair.

“We had to save something for Season 2. I feel evenly split between the fear that A.I. will enslave us and make us do its bidding and my fear that it won’t. If you look at things that have gone down in the last year, humans are terrible at running this world. It’s clear that there’s room for improvement. Some can yield dramatic improvements in a way our world functions. People like to ask, ‘Why would A.I. want to be evil and destroy us?’ A corporation’s goal is to make profits. It’s very simple. It’s binary. It’s either less or more. Computers work along the same thing. If you can see how, with the simplest of directives that can get blown into something beyond what could image, that’s the kind of thing we’re talking about.”
